Ofé Education was founded in the spirit of a powerful legacy. A legacy begun by Tryphina, a beloved educator whose career in the Hacienda–La Puente School District touched countless lives. Her influence reached far beyond her own classroom. Alyssa, one of the students featured in Ofé’s films, has a grandmother who became a certificated educator because of Tryphina’s genuine encouragement. This connection was discovered only after Alyssa’s family learned that her teacher was Tryphina’s daughter, Ms. Ayo Coker. By then, their bond was already strong, as if guided by Tryphina herself.
